How the Test Works

Selection of the test area: A specific area of your choice, typically 1 to 2 m², is carefully identified for the trial on your vessel or asset.
Initial gloss measurement: A gloss measurement is taken prior to any preparation to establish a technical baseline value.
Surface preparation and ceramic coating application: The selected area is meticulously prepared, professionally polished, and expertly coated with BluGuard’s ceramic technology.
Final gloss measurement: A second gloss measurement is taken after the application to evaluate the enhanced finish and reflectivity level.
